6" pot. Newly classified as Geoppertia, this striking plant has unquietly patterned foliage. Flowers infrequently with minimal flowers. Calathea prefer higher humidity and it is suggested to keep close to a humidifier or provide supplemental misting multiple times a day.
Provide bright to medium indirect light, northern and eastern exposure. Do not place in direct light or the leaves can burn. Keep evenly moist but do not let sit in excess water. Do not let dry out fully or they will be at risk to browning edges and die off. Can be potted in an all purpose potting soil with perlite. When roots fill the pot, repot into one pot size larger.
