Variation of filet crochet using extended half double crochets which creates a denser weave compared to double crochet filet crochet and taller than single crochet filet.

- Medium/worsted weight yarn
- 5mm hook

- Tapestry needle
These are my favourite embroidery scissors -
Sizing down - use a lighter weight yarn with a hook that’s one size bigger than the recommended size
Sizing up - use a heavier weight yarn with a hook that’s one size bigger than the recommended size

With Foundation Chain start
15 stitches by 11 rows (border included) = 4.5” x 4.5” (11.4 cm x 11.4cm)

- Turn work after every row. Do not Ch 1 after turning, start directly in the first stitch of the row
