Posted this onto a couple subreddits to figure out whether I wanted to add a tongue or not, and learned I didn't need to add a red tongue. Once I track down some assorted felt I'll think about what shape/colour tongue I want.
I stuffed the head with poly-fil to give it a better squeeze texture. The body is lightly filled with foam scraps to hold the shape.
